The Use of Technology in Photovoltaic Solar Energy
The partnership between WDC Networks (focused on Technology as a Service (TaaS) and operating in the solar energy sector with the manufacture of photovoltaic solar generators under the WDC Solar brand), with technology multinational Huawei (a global company in intelligent photovoltaic inverters) and Brazilian HDT Energy, will start using lithium batteries. The use of lithium in its batteries will aim to expand its performance within the segments of more sophisticated residences, businesses, and medium to large-sized industries, combining the expertise of the three major companies in the area to serve the photovoltaic solar energy market.
Strength of the Brazilian Photovoltaic Market
According to an estimate made by Absolar – Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy, the year 2021 could see an increase of 5.09 GW in installed photovoltaic solar energy capacity in Brazil, representing more than 68% compared to the accumulated total until the end of 2020. WDC operates with a production line of generators of various power types, with all models of mounting structures and inverters for the installation of photovoltaic solar energy in residences, businesses, and industries.
