Other Eneva Projects
According to the company’s operations director, Lino Cançado says, “We have been working on other projects on land and also with gas from LNG and the pre-salt. We have the capability to bring projects to fruition, conduct basic engineering, market studies, participate in auctions, and implementation and operation and maintenance (O&M). It is only natural that we have the ambition to participate in this.”
In Parnaíba, where the company has installed capacity for generating 1.4 GW, Cançado stated his intention to renew the contracts of the thermoelectric plants. On the other hand, he explained that no new investments will be made in the region. In the Paraná Basin, where the company acquired four blocks in 2020, operations have yet to start. The contract, however, provides for activities until 2029 for the minimum exploratory program in the region.

Recently, the Company Signed a Contract with Constellation to Drill Seven Wells in the Azulão Field, Located in the Amazonas Basin
On July 23rd, Eneva, the national leader in energy generation, production, and exploration of natural gas, signed a contract with Constellation Oil Services for the drilling of seven wells in the Azulão field, located in the Amazonas Basin. The deal between the two companies was finalized, and operations are set to begin by September 15th.
The Constellation rig contracted for Eneva’s campaign, which is expected to last up to 290 days, is the QG VIII, capable of drilling wells up to 4,500 meters deep. The rig is equipped with a full VFD control system and has 1600 HP of hoisting power, increasing operation efficiency. The QG VIII has previously operated for Eneva in the same field, successfully drilling three wells in 2019. The current contract demonstrates the continuation of a successful partnership in the region. Constellation currently has nine onshore and eight offshore drilling rigs.
