The Operations Are Intended for Upstream Operations by Michael Page’s Operational Base in Rio de Janeiro, Experienced Engineers in the Offshore Oil and Gas Sector Are Needed Urgently
This is a high-level job that requires serious communication and multitasking skills. The individual must be able to anticipate and respond to a wide variety of challenges and opportunities and must ensure ethical and responsible operations that maximize the company’s cash flow.
The employee will report to the General Director (GD) and serve as an integral member of the Senior Management Team in Brazil with responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:
- Manage and supervise the daily activities of drilling, completion, workover, acquisition, production, and construction of the Company.
- Assist in the development of corporate goals.
- Head of the Company’s Operations Department.
- Assist in determining production and corporate growth objectives.
- Assist in the detailed planning of all facilities, drilling, completions, workovers, and production operations.
- Develop and manage the ANP authorization process.
- Develop and manage the process for all environmental licenses.
- Manage all environmental contacts affected by Operations.
- Manage the annual budget for the Operations team.
- Ensure compliance with ANP and other governmental requirements.
- Other tasks as assigned.
The Candidate
A Master’s degree in Science or Business is desired, but not required; however, prior upstream oil and gas management experience is necessary with at least 15 years in operations of this nature.
