Engine Room Operator – Offshore/Rio de Janeiro, RJ
Responsible for the operation, monitoring and maintenance of the main power plant on board.
Some of the responsibilities: Compliance with Seadrill's Code of Conduct; Compliance with applicable internal and external government requirements; That any operation does not exceed the limitations of the unit or its equipment; Detailed daily planning is conducted for all future operations; Good and clear communications with all parties involved.
Meeting Seadrill's training, certification and competency requirements; That all emergency equipment is in good condition and configured as required. Non-compliances are promptly taken up and reported to the direct supervisor.
Safe and efficient execution of operation, maintenance and repair activities; Continuous monitoring of energy consumption and distribution; All drills and checks are performed as needed; All applicable reports and logs, as required by the direct supervisor, are maintained; The engine room is kept tidy and in good working order; Detailed transfers are provided at each daily shift change; Other duties are performed as needed and/or directed by your direct supervisor.
