The Construction Company Andrade Gutierrez opened applications this Tuesday, 23, for its new innovation challenge for startups, called Vetor AG. The Construction Company is looking for small technology companies from the engineering and construction sectors.

The innovation program for startups from Andrade Gutierrez Construction Company works as an opportunity for small companies capable of solving problems and proposing innovative business models in sectors related to the core activity of Andrade Gutierrez Construction Company. The purpose of the program is for construction companies and startups to work together to create new solutions for the market.
This will be the fifth edition of the program, which was launched for the first time in 2018 by Andrade Gutierrez Construction Company and will also be the first open innovation action in the engineering and construction sector in Brazil. Over the years, the company has partnered with over 1,500 startups and enabled 29 projects created by them in real works.

In the last edition of the construction company’s innovation program, over 190 national and international startups applied to showcase their projects.
Target Audience of Andrade Gutierrez Construction Company’s Innovation Program
National and international startups with solutions in seven different themes can apply for the construction company’s innovation challenges. They are:
- 5G – Connectivity on the construction site;
- Green Construction Site;
- HR 4.0;
- Equipment Productivity;
- Training and Communication;
- Scope Management;
- Supply Chain and Inventory;
- Companies that believe they have a fit with AG in other areas of operation;
Applications
Applications for the first phase of startup selection for the construction company can be made until September 25, on the AG website. After this deadline, the selected companies will go through a Pitch Day, when they will present their solutions to Andrade Gutierrez professionals.
Finally, in the last stage, up to eight companies will test their solutions on AG’s projects during a testing period that will last six months.
