Duque de Caxias Refinery – Reduc
The Duque de Caxias Refinery – Reduc is one of the largest in Brazil in terms of installed oil refining capacity. The refinery began production in 1961, has privileged logistics, accounting for 80% of lubricant production and the highest natural gas processing in Brazil, with 55 processed products in 43 units. Located in Baixada Fluminense, it has spurred the birth of a strong industrial hub in the region.
The Duque de Caxias Refinery connects to the Terminals of Ilha d’água, Ilha Redonda, Angra dos Reis, Cabiúnas, Campos Elíseos, Volta Redonda. It is also interconnected to the Gabriel Passos Refinery (REGAP) in Betim (MG) and the Henrique Lage Refinery (Revap) in São José dos Campos (SP).
Main products: Diesel, gasoline, aviation kerosene (QAV), asphalt, petrochemical naphtha, petrochemical gases (ethane, propane, and propylene), paraffins, lubricants, LPG, coke, sulfur.
Petrobras Will Pay R$ 7.5 Billion To The Municipality Of Itaboraí For Suspending The Comperj Projects
Petrobras is expected to finalize, by September this year, a Conduct Adjustment Term (TAC) to compensate the municipality of Itaboraí for the losses caused by the halt of the Rio de Janeiro Petrochemical Complex (Comperj) projects in 2015.
