Funding For Green Technologies Such As Floating Wind Turbines And More Climate-Friendly Asphalt. Requested Assistance.
The Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Programme (EUDP) granted subsidies for green technologies, including innovative floating wind projects. The grants, totaling 316.38 million Danish crowns (42 million euros), also aim to promote technologies that will reduce the CO2 footprint of asphalt, convert biological waste, and develop liquid systems for wind and waves. The Minister of Climate, Energy, and Supply, Lars Aagaard, highlighted the importance of new energy technologies and their impact on the green transition and Danish companies.
Among the projects supported by the EUDP are projects for floating wind turbines and more climate-friendly asphalt. The chairman of the EUDP board, Kim Lehmann, emphasized the importance of supporting energy projects with the potential for a positive impact on climate, growth, and employment. I look forward to seeing the projects unfold and create jobs and green outcomes across the energy system.’
Floating Wind Energy: Energy Technology Development and Demonstration Programme
In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the development of floating wind turbines. The Floating Wind Turbine is one of the Green Technologies most promising, as it offers a more sustainable alternative for energy generation. With growing concerns about the CO2 Footprint and the need to reduce Biological Waste, Floating Wind Farms have gained prominence as a viable solution for clean energy production.
