“The magnitude of a judicial recovery process like this is very complex. But, little by little, we are beginning to overcome the obstacles”, stated Dr. Fabiana, who praised the company’s efforts. “We have taken an important step. We are optimistic. Now we must stay this way, so that the process continues on the right path”, emphasized the magistrate, commending the dedication and commitment of Ecovix executives.

Ecovix is About to Secure Repair and Maintenance Contracts for Vessels Serving Petrobras
The Ecovix Group announced that advanced negotiations are underway to conduct repairs on two more vessels at the naval shipyard: the Siem Helix II, a well stimulation vessel operating for Petrobras in the Campos Basin, as well as the Siem Helix I; and the Seven Waves, from Subsea 7, which also operates with the Brazilian state company as a pipeline support vessel (PLSV).
If Ecovix secures the contracts, the new repair works are expected to ensure the maintenance of around 500 jobs created for the service, at least until the first quarter of 2022, in addition to boosting the economy of Rio Grande. “The confirmation of these investments will reinforce the shipyard’s relevance in this market, as well as the diversification of activities, bringing good prospects for the entire region”, points out Robson Passos.
It’s worth noting that, on August 28, the Rio Grande Shipyard resumed naval services with the arrival of the Siem Helix I, which will remain on-site for the coming days. The service is carried out in partnership with DockBrasil, a company from Rio de Janeiro that specializes in naval repairs.
