The State Technical Schools (Etecs) of Centro Paula Souza (CPS) are with applications open for the first semester of 2025, offering over 92 thousand spots in free courses across various areas and modes of education. The opportunities are aimed at young people and adults interested in entering High School, Technical Education, Integrated High School with Technical, or in specialization courses and leftover spots.

The courses offered by Etecs focus on the main objective of providing quality technical and academic training that allows for faster and more advanced insertion into the job market. The modalities offered are in-person, hybrid, and online, allowing for flexibility and adaptation to the students’ routines. The workload varies according to the course and the chosen modality, involving theoretical classes, practical activities, and assessments.

Available Slots in Technical Courses and Locations of Offer

The slots are distributed among Etecs and decentralized classes, in partnership with municipalities and the State Secretary of Education (Seduc-SP). For Integrated High School with Technical, 49,633 slots are offered; for the AMS format, 2,543 spots in 42 units. The High School with formative itineraries provides 2,270 slots.

In in-person technical courses, hybrid, and online, there are 36,500 slots available. For technical specializations, 1,296 slots are offered, with 920 in online learning. There are leftover slots in areas such as Administration, Electronics, Logistics, and Occupational Safety.

The selection process will be conducted through an exam, with additional points for social inclusion. The Increased Scoring System grants bonuses of up to 13% for individuals of African descent and students from public schools. Candidates with disabilities may request special conditions for the exam by presenting a medical report.

Transgender candidates also have the right to be addressed by their social name, and must indicate this preference when applying.

Requirements for Application

To participate, candidates must meet the requirements of each modality. For High School and Integrated High School with Technical, it is necessary to have completed Elementary School. In technical courses, it is required to be enrolled in or have completed High School.

Specializations will not require the completion of a technical or higher education course until January 10, 2025. The application fee must be paid by November 26.
