There Was Anticipation of the Release of Omega Energia’s Project, Which Acquired This Asset in the 26th Round of Energy Auctions in 2017
Omega Energia received authorization from ANEEL to start the operation of the expansion of its wind farms in Maranhão that were negotiated during the 26th New Energy Auction (A-6 2017), realizing an anticipation of almost four years compared to the supply date stipulated in the bidding. This demonstrates Omega Energia’s ability to make large energy projects a reality and also the trend of energy commercialization in both free and regulated markets as a leverage option for projects.
