Factory Within the Port of Pecém Area Will Undergo Expansion Works and Will Generate at Least 40 Jobs in Two Shifts
The São Paulo pipe manufacturer Hydrostec Tubos Equipamentos Ltda. will invest about R$ 10 million in the expansion of its factory located in the Industrial and Port Complex of the Port of Pecém.
The announcement was made by the company’s Director, Sérgio Ferreira, who stated that the investments will be beneficial for both the company and the region.
“The works have already begun and should last approximately 9 months. This expansion should more than double the factory’s production capacity and generate at least 40 job positions per shift,” said the director.
The works, which are expected to be completed by June of next year (2020), will create 80 new direct jobs when the factory is operating at the expanded capacity.
