SENAI Bets on Qualification for the Renewable Energy Market
The main objective of these free SENAI courses is to prepare professionals to deal with emerging technologies in the renewable energy sector, focusing on green hydrogen. According to Patrícia Mello, educational supervisor at SENAI, “the classes were designed to introduce essential concepts and practices about green hydrogen, bringing the most modern knowledge for learning.”
With a workload of 20 hours, the courses will cover the main characteristics of green hydrogen, its production methods, and its applications in the market. Green hydrogen is produced through electrolysis, a process that uses electricity from renewable sources such as solar, wind, and hydropower, generating a clean and sustainable fuel.
In addition to being a promising technology for clean energy production, green hydrogen has great potential to be used as an industrial input and fuel for different types of transportation, including in the maritime and rail sectors.
