Slots for Masters and Doctorate
According to official information, the Univasf announcement offers 13 slots for the masters and 33 for the doctorate.
These slots are specifically distributed: two are allocated for University Technical Staff (TAE) of Univasf and 12 for black, indigenous, quilombola candidates and people with disabilities (PCD), following the University’s Affirmative Action Policy.
Opportunities like these are competitive, but if you are qualified, you still have time to secure your registration.
Registrations are done entirely online and free of charge, making it easier for those seeking this opportunity to specialize and advance in their academic career.
Who Can Register?
According to Univasf, the selection process is divided between candidates for masters and doctorate, each with its own prerequisites.
For the masters, it is necessary to have a undergraduate diploma or a course completion statement. For the doctorate, the candidate must present a masters diploma.
Attention, even if you have not yet completed your undergraduate or master’s degree, you can participate!
Just present an original statement of “Possible Graduate,” which must be issued by the course coordination.
However, one important detail: if approved, you cannot enroll if you haven’t completed your undergraduate degree (for the masters) or masters degree (for the doctorate) by the time of enrollment.
Required Documentation
The list of mandatory documents for registration is described in the announcement available on the website of the Graduate Program in Health and Biological Sciences (PPGCSB) at Univasf.
Each slot will be assigned to members of the program’s faculty, according to the availability of advisors, which is important for those wanting to join the program with a specific mentor.
Selection Process Steps
The selection process consists of three phases. The first will be an objective knowledge exam in the areas of Health and Biological Sciences, scheduled for November 4, at 2 PM, in an in-person format.
Next, candidates will undergo a defense of their statement, which will take place virtually between November 11 and 14. Finally, there will be a curriculum analysis.
The ranking result, which will list candidates in order of performance, will be announced by December 5. The final list of approved candidates will be published on December 16, according to the schedule released in the announcement.
