FAETEC Offers 7,334 Vacancies for Basic Education, Technical Courses, and Higher Education

This Tuesday, (10/29), the Foundation for Support to Technical Schools (Faetec) is open for registrations for the 2025 selection process, offering 7,334 spots in different education modalities, including basic education, technical courses, and higher education. Registrations will be open until November 10 and must be made directly on the institution’s official website. With opportunities distributed throughout the state of Rio de Janeiro, Faetec aims to attract students who wish to qualify for the job market or advance their studies.

More Than 5,000 Spots for Technical Courses

The largest volume of spots offered by Faetec is geared toward technical courses. There are a total of 5,879 spots, divided into different training categories:

Integrated Technical High School: For students who wish to attend high school alongside technical training, 2,023 spots are offered.
Subsequent Technical: For those who have already completed high school or are enrolled from the 2nd year onwards, 3,590 spots are available.

Faetec’s technical courses cover high-demand areas in the market, such as Administration, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Clinical Analysis, Mechanics, Nursing, and Logistics, among other options.

Theater and Music Courses with Special Spots

In addition to traditional technical courses, Faetec offers specific opportunities for artistic fields.

At the State Technical School (ETE) of Theater Martins Pena, 40 spots are available for the Dramatic Art course, in the subsequent modality to high school.

For the Musical Instrument course, there are 50 spots, with a selection process that includes skill tests, scheduled for December 14 and 15.

The registration for these courses also costs R$ 58.

Early Childhood Education and Elementary School

Faetec also offers spots in basic education.

For early childhood education, intended for children aged 3 to 5 years, there are 98 spots available in units in the capital of Rio de Janeiro and Campos dos Goytacazes, in Northern Fluminense.

The selection process will be conducted by means of a draw.

For elementary school, the institution has opened 305 spots distributed in units in Campos dos Goytacazes.

For full-time elementary education, 304 spots are offered, with a registration fee of R$ 58, and the selection process will be conducted through an objective test in Portuguese Language and Mathematics.

Faetec Opens Spots for Higher Education

For those seeking a degree, Faetec is offering 558 spots in higher education courses.

The opportunities are distributed across the Technological Education Colleges of Rio de Janeiro, located in cities like Barra Mansa, Bom Jesus de Itabapoana, Paracambi, Três Rios, Santo Antônio de Pádua, Itaperuna, Petrópolis, and Duque de Caxias.

Additionally, the Higher Education Institutes of Rio de Janeiro (Isepam and Iserj) are also part of the selection process.

The registration fee for undergraduate courses is R$ 58, and the exams will take place on December 15, assessing knowledge in Portuguese Language and Mathematics.

Open Spots for Children of State Employees and Specialization

In compliance with State Law 8.250/2018, Faetec has reserved 266 spots exclusively for children of effective employees of the Faetec Network.

These opportunities are in the courses at CAPs-Iserj and Isepam.

Furthermore, there are a total of 60 spots for normal upper secondary education and general training at Iserj and Isepam, with registrations costing R$ 20 and selection by draw, scheduled to take place on December 14.

For those who already have a technical Nursing course and seek a specialization, Faetec also offers 40 spots for the Specialization in Occupational Nursing course.

Calendar and Registrations

Registrations for all courses must be completed by November 10, directly on Faetec’s official website.

Registration fees vary according to the chosen course, ranging from R$ 20 to R$ 58. For courses requiring objective tests, the exam will be conducted on December 15, while the draws for specific courses will take place on December 14.

The enrollment period is scheduled to take place between January 21 and 28, 2025, according to the timetable provided in the notice.
