Are You Thinking About Buying a Fiat Toro? See All the Details of One of Fiat’s Biggest Successes

The Fiat Toro 2025 is in stores with minor changes but still maintains the same style that marked its market debut.

The mid-size pickup truck from the Italian manufacturer, launched in 2016, has consolidated its space among the options in the segment and continues to be one of the most valued in the category.

End of the Ultra Version and New Price Range

The main change in the Fiat Toro 2025 is the absence of the Ultra version, which was aimed at urban use and featured a hardtop over the cargo bed as a differentiator.

With this removal, the Toro’s lineup now consists of five versions. The entry-level version, Endurance T270, starts at R$ 151,990. The most expensive, the Ranch TD350, costs R$ 219,990 and bets on a more rugged appearance and refined finish.

Check out the updated prices of the lineup:

  • Endurance T270: R$ 151,990
  • Freedom T270: R$ 161,990
  • Volcano T270: R$ 177,990
  • Volcano TD350: R$ 201,990
  • Ranch TD350: R$ 219,990

Dimensions and Load Capacity

Even without significant external changes, the Fiat Toro 2025 maintains robust dimensions. It measures 4.94 meters in length, 1.84 meters in width, and 2.99 meters in wheelbase.

The total height reaches 1.73 meters. The cargo bed can hold up to 937 liters, with a load capacity of up to 750 kg in the flex versions and 1 ton in the diesel versions.

The pickup also allows towing of up to 400 kg, making it a viable option for various uses, both in urban and rural areas.

Engine and Fuel Consumption

The Fiat Toro 2025 offers two engine options. The flex versions are equipped with the 1.3 T270 turbo engine, delivering 180 horsepower with gasoline and 185 hp with ethanol, along with 27.5 kgfm of torque.

The transmission is a six-speed automatic with front-wheel drive and electronic differential lock.

The diesel versions feature the 2.0 TD350 engine, with 170 hp and 35.5 kgfm of torque.

The transmission is a nine-speed automatic and includes 4×4 drive with low range. There is no rear differential lock.

Regarding fuel consumption, according to Inmetro data, the T270 version achieves 9.6 km/l with gasoline and 6.6 km/l with ethanol in the city.

On the highway, the numbers rise to 11.2 km/l with gasoline and 8 km/l with ethanol. Meanwhile, the diesel engine records 10.5 km/l in the city and 13 km/l on the highway.

Equipment for Each Version

The Fiat Toro 2025 also focuses on a good list of equipment, varying by version.

Endurance: air conditioning, LED daytime running lights, 7″ digital panel, 7″ multimedia center with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear parking sensor, traction and stability control, 6 airbags, 15″ steel wheels with hubcaps, and multifunction steering wheel.

Freedom: adds dual-zone digital air conditioning, rearview camera, 8.4″ multimedia center, full LED headlights, grille with glossy black trim, leather steering wheel, 17″ alloy wheels, tire pressure sensors, and electric mirrors.

Volcano: includes power-adjustable driver’s seat, leather seats, remote start, integrated GPS, wireless charger, rain and dusk sensors, chrome handles and trim, 18″ wheels, and front parking sensor.

Ranch: comes with the ADAS package featuring autonomous braking, lane departure warning, and automatic high beam, plus an adventurous look, chrome step bars, and a multimedia screen of 10″.

Market Appreciation – FIPE Table Values

In addition to the new catalog, the Fiat Toro continues to appreciate well in the national market. According to data from Mobiauto based on the FIPE Table, the pickup has maintained a trend of price growth even for older models.

See the average prices of used Fiat Toro by year:

  • 2024: R$ 124,056 to R$ 171,106
  • 2023: R$ 112,754 to R$ 155,451
  • 2022: R$ 97,742 to R$ 141,944
  • 2021: R$ 86,895 to R$ 128,465
  • 2020: R$ 84,775 to R$ 121,877
  • 2019: R$ 82,452 to R$ 113,824
  • 2018: R$ 84,166 to R$ 100,311
  • 2017: R$ 80,770 to R$ 96,289
  • 2016: R$ 76,926 to R$ 89,827

The table confirms that the Fiat Toro has remained one of the most valued pickups in its category. Even almost a decade after its launch, earlier models continue to have good resale rates.

With the removal of the Ultra version, a new package of equipment, and competitive prices, the Fiat Toro 2025 reinforces its position in the Brazilian market.

The combination of performance, technology, comfort, and load capacity keeps the model as one of the most sought-after options among consumers looking for a mid-size pickup with a modern look and good resale value.

The maintenance of high prices for used models further reinforces this consolidation in the market.
