The realization of a new competition by the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz) is seen as a priority by Mario Moreira, the new president of the institution. Last Friday (12), during his inauguration speech, the executive reinforced that the institution must hire no less than 1,400 new professionals.
Fiocruz Competition Promises To Open Around 1,400 Positions
According to the new president, Fiocruz urgently needs a new public competition. The institution already has a demand for the replacement of approximately 1,400 people. This is what its agenda with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Management is currently about. However, there is still no forecast for when a new announcement might be effectively published.
Having not held public competitions for permanent positions in almost 7 years, Fiocruz has only conducted selection processes for temporary staff. During the Covid-19 pandemic, 1,172 people were hired temporarily for various roles, for positions at the secondary, technical, and higher levels.
