Firjan Senai Is Making Hundreds Of Positions Available In Free Courses In The Areas Of Civil Construction, Automotive, Electricity And Refrigeration At Senai RJ

Through the Municipal Secretary of Labor and Income, the City of Rio de Janeiro has partnered with Firjan Senai to open 400 positions in free vocational courses. The aim is to qualify professionals for job openings that are being demanded by the job market in RJ, such as in the areas of Civil Construction, Automotive, Electricity, and Refrigeration.

Requirements Proposed By Firjan Senai To Participate In The Free Courses

Candidates for the free courses in RJ must be over 16 years old, but in some courses, the candidate must be at least 18 years old. It will be necessary, at the time of registration, to present proof of educational level and also an official photo ID.

Registration for the free courses in the areas of Civil Construction, Automotive, Electricity, and Refrigeration will take place from October 1 to 8, from 8 AM to 5 PM, at the Firjan Senai units in Tijuca, Santa Cruz, Benfica, Jacarepaguá, and Vicente de Carvalho.

Registrations for the free courses will be held in person, from 8 AM to 5 PM, and classes will also be conducted in person starting October 11, at the Senai units located at the following addresses:

Tijuca: Reference Center for Food, Beverages, Baking, and Civil Construction – Rua Moraes e Silva, 53.
Senai Institute of Industrial Automation Technology Benfica: Pça. Natividade Saldanha, 19.
Jacarepaguá: Avenida Geremário Dantas, 940 – Pechincha.
Vicente de Carvalho: Avenida Pastor Martin Luther King Júnior 6475
Santa Cruz: Rua Felipe Cardoso, 71.

Firjan Senai will provide certificates to students who complete all of the free courses with at least 75% attendance and participation.

According to the Municipal Secretary of Labor and Income, Sérgio Felippe, qualification and employability are one of the focuses of SMTE, and there is nothing more valuable for changing the perspective of a young person who does not have many opportunities than promoting education and training for their future.

Sérgio states that this has been one of the government’s major focuses in RJ, investments in job and income generation, public policies aimed at youth, women, and people in social vulnerability, as well as professional qualification.
