Kia has opened the pre-sale of the new Sorento 4×4 in Brazil and announced a promotional price of R$ 399.990 for the first imported batch.
The seven-seat SUV marks the model’s return to the Brazilian market after being discontinued in the country in 2020, now in its fourth generation.
According to Kia itself, the official public launch is expected to take place during the Rio Open ATP 500 tournament, between February 14 and 22, 2026, at the Jockey Club Brasileiro in Rio de Janeiro.

The technical specifications released by Kia indicate 194 hp at 3,800 rpm and 45 kgfm of torque between 1,750 and 2,750 rpm, with diesel S10 fuel expected.
This setup works with an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) and all-wheel drive (AWD), according to official information from the brand.
Kia also states that the model offers four driving modes and three terrain modes, with adjustments that involve engine, transmission, and steering parameters.

The engine is the same mentioned for the upcoming Kia Tasman pickup.
According to Motor1, dealerships project the pickup’s arrival between July and August.

In the official communication about the pre-sale, Kia details the public presentation schedule of the vehicle at the Rio Open, but does not set a single delivery day for all stores in the same text.

Visually, the Sorento adopts elements found in Kia’s more recent launches.

At the front, the SUV features vertical LED headlights with a luminous signature Star Map, a reference cited by Kia as inspired by constellations.
The front set includes a three-dimensional grille with a darkened finish and a logo positioned at the top of the hood.
The front bumper incorporates elements reminiscent of a skid plate, along with vertical air intakes.
At the rear, the taillights are also vertical, in LED, connected by diagonal elements, with a bumper that uses satin chrome frames.
The wheels are 19-inch alloy.
Interior with Two 12.3” Screens and Wireless Connectivity
Inside, Kia reports that the Sorento now features a horizontal dashboard with a digital set formed by two 12.3-inch screens, one for instruments and the other for the multimedia center.
The screens sit side by side in a curved and panoramic design, concentrating driving controls and entertainment functions.

In the convenience package, the brand includes a wireless charger for smartphones and USB-C connections in all rows.
The multimedia system features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with wireless pairing, according to the official material released for the Brazilian market.
Kia’s announcement also mentions dual-zone digital climate control and front seats with electric adjustments.
The stated warranty is for five years, with no mileage limit.
Dimensions of the Kia Sorento 2026 and Technical Specification Data
The dimensions released by Kia indicate 4,815 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, 1,695 mm in height, and 2,815 mm in wheelbase.
The brand relates the wheelbase to the aim of accommodating seven occupants, with the third row integrated into the design.
The technical specification indicates a curb weight of 1,974 kg and a fuel tank capacity of 67 liters.
For the diesel emission after-treatment system, the document mentions the use of AdBlue and a reservoir of 14 liters.
According to Kia’s specifications, the Sorento has a reported maximum speed of 201 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.7 seconds.
The document also lists tires 235/55 R19 and ventilated disc brakes on all four wheels.
Sorento Trunk: Capacity with 7, 5, and 2 Rows
The trunk capacity changes depending on the seat position, as is the case with seven-seat SUVs.
According to Kia, with all three rows in use, the volume is 179 liters.
When the third row is folded down, the declared capacity increases to 608 liters.
With the second and third rows folded, the compartment reaches 1,996 liters, according to the technical specifications of the model for Brazil.
