Registrations for a new FAB contest have been open since February 19 for those interested in pursuing a career as Officers of the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) in various fields. The vacancies in the FAB are aimed at the Aeronautics Support Officers’ Frame (QOAP), through the Admission Exam for the Adaptation Stage of Support Officers (EA EAOAP 2026).
Requirements to Participate in the FAB Contest
The vacancies in the FAB are distributed across fields such as Administration, Systems Analysis, Physical Therapy, Nursing, Legal Services, Pedagogy, and Psychology.
To apply for the FAB contest, the candidate must be a natural-born Brazilian, be a volunteer, and be aware of all the norms and conditions established in the announcement for eligibility for future enrollment in the desired course or internship.

To compete for one of the vacancies in the FAB, candidates must also be at least 18 years old and no older than 32 years, as well as have a completed higher education degree in the areas required by the Brazilian Air Force announcement.
It will be necessary to upload the Professional Registration Card or Equivalent, with personal data, issued by the respective Professional Council, for specialties that, by law, require registration for professional practice.
Finally, a diploma or certificate of completion of a higher education course at the bachelor’s or teaching degree level in the specialty to which they are applying will be required.
The FAB contest for the Adaptation Stage of Aeronautical Support Officers (EAOAP) is a military training program designed to adapt future commanders to the routine of military life. As it is an internship, it has a very short duration, around 17 weeks.

Registrations for vacancies in the FAB are already open and can be made until March 17, through the FAB/Fundação Guimarães Rosa website, with a fee of R$ 150. Before registering, the candidate must read the entire announcement and ensure that they meet all the required criteria.
The candidate must complete the FSI, paying attention to the Local Coordinating Organization (OCL) fields they wish to be linked to during the Exam and the Specialty they plan to compete for.
It is worth mentioning that candidates registered in the Unified Cadastre for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico) can request an exemption from the payment of the registration fee for the Brazilian Air Force contest, providing their Social Identification Number (NIS) and being a bone marrow donor in entities recognized by the Ministry of Health.
Stages of the Selection Process for Vacancies in the FAB
The exam for the FAB contest will consist of stages such as Written Tests, Verification of Biographical and Professional Data (VDBP), Health Inspection (INSPSAU), Psychological Aptitude Exam (EAP), Physical Conditioning Assessment Test (TACF), Complementary Heteroidentification Procedure (PHC), and Document Validation.
The stages for opportunities in the Brazilian Air Force take place in cities such as Belém, Recife, Jaboatão dos Guararapes, Fortaleza, Natal, Parnamirim, Salvador, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte, Lagoa Santa, São Paulo, Guarulhos, Campo Grande, Porto Alegre, Canoas, Curitiba, Santa Maria, Brasília, and Manaus.
The written tests will consist of questions on grammar and text interpretation, Specialized Knowledge (subjects related to the desired specialty), and an Essay that will consist of the preparation of a handwritten argumentative text in prose on a current topic, aiming to verify knowledge of the proposed theme and expression skills.
