In Public Hearing Held at the Chamber of Deputies, Ufology Experts Denounced the Occlusion of Records About Unidentified Flying Objects and Reported Military Intimidation in the Case of the ET of Varginha

On the morning of last Tuesday (9/16), the Chamber of Deputies in Brasília (DF) was the stage for a public hearing that raised strong accusations against the Armed Forces of Brazil. The debate brought together renowned Brazilian ufologists, who claimed the existence of thousands of confidential documents about UFOs (Unidentified Flying Objects) kept secret for decades.

Participating in the event were prominent names in national ufology, such as Fernando Ramalho, Thiago Ticchetti, Marco Peti, and Vitório Pacaccini, the latter recognized for being one of the first investigators of the famous ET of Varginha case, which occurred in Minas Gerais in 1996.

The meeting was organized by federal deputy Chico Alencar (PSOL-RJ) and aimed to discuss the risks and impacts of UFO sightings from the perspective of airspace security and national sovereignty. This information was disclosed by Estado de Minas, which followed the debate and highlighted the explosive nature of the allegations.

Secret Dossiers from the Navy and Public Denouncements

During his speech, the president of the Brazilian Ufologists Commission, Marco Peti, stated that ufological events in Brazil have been systematically covered up since the 1950s. “The Navy has a huge dossier of documents,” he asserted, suggesting that the official records are extensive and of great historical importance.

The vice-president of the Commission, Fernando Ramalho, emphasized that the hearing aimed not only to expose but also to publicly denounce the concealment of these documents. According to him, the Brazilian population has the right to know the truth:

“First, we have to talk about what is happening and then call the military to speak. What we are doing here is a denunciation. There are many ‘hairy’ things that are hidden by military power, and this is a right of all and we must have access to it,” declared Ramalho.

ET of Varginha and Military Intimidation

One of the most striking moments of the hearing was the testimony of Vitório Pacaccini, author of the book Incident in Varginha (1996). He recalled the episode of the ET of Varginha, when supposedly alien creatures were captured in southern Minas Gerais.

Pacaccini claimed that, in 1996, the Brazilian Armed Forces secretly captured at least five beings. According to him, the military knew they were extraterrestrial entities and still chose to conceal the information. The researcher also reported that he suffered intimidation processes while trying to investigate the case.

“They (the military) knew that those creatures that were there were ETs. Today we are sure that at least five creatures were secretly captured by military forces. I went through a whole process of intimidation. The military forces also hide the presence of ETs to avoid panic in the population,” said Pacaccini.

The Importance of Ufology in Public Debate

In addition to the allegations, the participants highlighted the relevance of ufology as a field of study and investigation. Also called ufonology, the area encompasses research on unidentified flying objects and related phenomena, which attract interest not only from the curious but also from scientists, journalists, and governments around the world.

In Brazil, the theme has gained strength especially after emblematic episodes like the ET of Varginha, considered one of the greatest ufological mysteries in the country. For experts, the secrecy maintained by the Armed Forces not only compromises the population’s right to information but also hinders the progress of independent research that could clarify phenomena still lacking scientific explanation.

Repercussions and Official Silence

The public hearing was considered by ufologists a historical milestone in Brazilian ufology, primarily for the courage to raise allegations against high-profile military institutions. Despite the pressure, the Brazilian Navy and Army did not respond to inquiries by the time the report was closed.

Meanwhile, the case continues to fuel theories, research, and debates about the level of involvement of the Brazilian State in the concealment of information about UFOs and extraterrestrial life. For many, transparency is the only way to restore public trust and clarify one of the most controversial subjects in recent history.

Is Brazil ready to deal with the revelation of military secrets about UFOs and the ET of Varginha case?
