Model Launched In 2020 Reaches R$ 110 Thousand In 2025 And Offers 1.5 Turbo Engine, CVT Transmission, Advanced Technology, And More Space Than Direct Rivals

An expressive depreciation of 42% has turned the 2021 Ford Territory Titanium into one of the most attractive used SUVs in Brazil. The vehicle, which was launched in August 2020 as Ford’s bet to face heavyweight competitors, can now be found for around R$ 110 thousand — a price well below the average recorded in the Fipe Table for September 2025, which marks R$ 121,586.

This move, therefore, positions the model as an interesting alternative for consumers seeking technology, space, and turbo engine in a more accessible SUV than the Jeep Compass, its closest rival in size and proposal.

Technical Investigation Reveals Balanced Mechanical Set

Since its arrival in the country, the Ford Territory has attracted attention for its technological package and balanced performance. With a 1.5 turbo engine delivering 150 horsepower and torque of 22.9 kgfm, always paired with an eight simulated gear CVT, the SUV delivers acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.8 seconds and a top speed of 180 km/h.

Furthermore, in terms of consumption, the numbers are also relevant. The model presents 9.2 km/l in the city and 10 km/l on the road, which ensures up to 520 km of autonomy on highways. These official figures reinforce the model’s vocation for comfortable and economical everyday use, combining performance and efficiency.

Larger Dimensions Than Direct Rivals

One of the differentiators of the Territory Titanium is its dimensions. While the Jeep Compass measures 4.41 meters in length, Ford’s SUV presents 4.58 meters, as well as 1.94 meters in width and 1.67 meters in height.

This extra size, therefore, guarantees more interior space, allowing three adults to travel comfortably in the back seat. However, the trunk of 348 liters, while not among the largest in the segment, is sufficient for short trips with up to five occupants. Thus, there is a balance between space for passengers and luggage.

Impacts On The Used Market

The drop in value compared to the launch price is a common reflection in the medium SUV market, but the Ford Territory shows a rate above the average, which increases its attractiveness.

With only four years in the market, the model stands out among consumers who want cutting-edge equipment and reduced cost. Thus, experts point out that, despite the rapid depreciation, the vehicle consolidates as one of the most complete options in technology in the current price range.

Highlight Technological And Safety Features

The 2021 Territory Titanium, in addition to its mechanical set, offers a robust list of features. Among the main standard items are:

  • Digital Automatic Climate Control with rear vents;
  • Six airbags and stability and traction control;
  • Autonomous emergency braking and collision warning;
  • Lane departure warning and blind spot monitoring;
  • Adaptive cruise control with Stop and Go;
  • 360° camera and automatic parking;
  • 10” digital display and 10.1” multimedia system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto;
  • Full LED headlights, panoramic sunroof, and front seats with heating and ventilation.

These features, therefore, place the SUV at a high technological level, comparable even to more expensive and current models. In addition, they demonstrate that, even depreciated, the Territory still maintains great appeal.

What Does The Future Hold For The Territory?

Currently, the Ford Territory Titanium stands as a favorable option for those seeking space, comfort, and high technology in a used SUV. Despite facing rapid depreciation since 2020, the model has become a solid alternative in the used car market in 2025.

Thus, the big question is: should the consumer take advantage of the 42% drop now to invest in a complete SUV, or wait for the depreciation to advance even further in the coming years?
