Telehealth UERJ promotes an online course on how health professionals work in the offshore segment with an estimated workload of 15 hours

Due to the importance of the offshore market in Brazil and the provision for its reheating for the coming years, the institution Telessaúde of UERJ developed the INTRODUCTORY course FOR THE PERFORMANCE OF HEALTH PROFESSIONALS ON OIL AND GAS PLATFORMS. See also how to enroll in a free English course with a MEC certificate.

The course aims to present details about the offshore market, profile and performance of the onboard health professional, with the aim of training health professionals to enter the area.

At the end of the classes, professionals are expected to understand aspects such as: what is an offshore unit and how it works; what are the basic principles of health, safety and environment; the functioning of the service on board; operation of an aeromedical rescue; o Operational Safety Management System (SGSO) and Well Integrity Management System (SGIP).
