International Company Seeks Naval Professionals to Work in Rio de Janeiro and Wind Energy Professionals to Work in the Northeast
Ghenova, a company based in Spain but with contracts in various branches of industry, is looking for professionals in the naval sector; there are openings for Naval Inspectors for Engineers or Bachelor’s in Nautical Science and for Designers or Draftsmen from all disciplines.
The other vacancies are aimed at Occupational Safety Technicians to work on one of its wind energy contracts in the Brazilian Northeast.

Naval Inspector on DP Vessels
Requirements:

- Knowledge of classification rules and IMO/IMCA guidelines, IMCA 190 and IMCA 220;
- Knowledge of the operational functioning of the complete DP system and FMEA of the system.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct tests, inspections, and audits aboard DP vessels.
- Study of the vessel’s technical documentation prior to performing activities on board;
- Preparation of reports on activities carried out on board.
Differentials:
- Participation in “DP Annual Trials”;
- More than three years of experience with DP systems.

Naval Designer or Draftsman
Requirements:
- Minimum experience of three years in engineering projects in the naval, industrial, or offshore areas in 3D modeling activities, plan extraction, and preparation of construction drawings;
- Open position for all disciplines (Structures, Piping, Mechanical, HVAC, Electricity, etc.);
- Knowledge of classification society standards (ABS, BV, etc.) and familiarity with interpreting plans and drawings of the basic project;
- Knowledge of MS-Office, AutoCAD, and 3D Modeling (FORAN and NUPAS/CADMATIC).
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of construction drawings from the vessel’s 3D model.
- Preparation of material lists;
- Verification of compliance with the requirements of the basic project and classification society rules, Flag, Technical procedures, etc.
Differentials:
- Experience in 3D modeling with FORAN or NUPAS/CADMATIC.
