The State of Bahia May Receive Another Project for the Installation of a New Wind Turbine Factory from the Chinese Multinational Sinoma Blade

Sinoma Blade, the world’s largest manufacturer of wind turbine blades, confirmed its interest in developing a project to install a factory in the city of Camaçari, Bahia.

The news was announced by the Bahia Communication Secretariat (Secom) following the officialization of the project in the presence of Governor Jerônimo Rodrigues and the company’s general director, Li Xinhua.

Sinoma Blade is part of a group in China specialized in the research, development, and manufacturing of special materials used in the construction of various products, including blades for wind energy.

With the most advanced wind turbine technology available today, the company plans to utilize this technology in the factory it intends to establish in Bahia.

The governor emphasized that the installation of the factory is good news for Bahia, as it will generate jobs, income, and development, further energizing the state’s economy, which has been standing out in generating clean energy. Additionally, the company commits to having 90% of its workforce made up of locals.

During the trip to China, the Bahia delegation also visited the headquarters of Goldwind, a manufacturer of wind turbines and tower components, which manages wind farms, with 40 towers currently being installed in the city of Terra Nova. The company plans to implement a project for a new wind turbine factory in Bahia.

The Installation of the New Factory from the Sinoma Blade Project in Bahia Could Significantly Boost the State’s Socioeconomic Development

Wind energy is a renewable, clean, and sustainable energy source that has been gaining more and more space worldwide.

Bahia is a Brazilian state that has distinguished itself in clean energy generation, especially wind energy, and has attracted investments from national and international companies in the sector.

The installation of the wind turbine factory by Sinoma Blade and Goldwind in Bahia is an important step for strengthening the wind energy production chain in the state.

In addition to generating jobs and income, these companies will contribute to the training of professionals working in the area, offering opportunities for young locals.

Bahia has great potential for generating clean and renewable energy, and the establishment of equipment manufacturing factories for wind energy production is an important step toward the sustainable development of the region.

In the coming months, what is expected is that the relationship between Sinoma Blade and the State Government becomes even closer for the new factory project.
