Ministers’ Statements
The authorization was announced by the Ministers of Mines and Energy, Alexandre Silveira, and Management and Innovation in Public Services, Esther Dweck. They highlighted the importance of strengthening the ANM for the sustainable and safe development of mining activity in Brazil.
Silveira stated: “In addition to the appreciation of careers, the government’s effort is primarily to generate employment, income, and national growth.”
Dweck emphasized: “We have made a tremendous effort to enhance this agency. Last year, we restructured the career, and this year we will authorize competitions. This will be very important for strengthening the agency.”
Last ANM Competition
The last ANM competition was held in 2021, organized by Cebraspe, with vacancies for the position of mineral resources specialist. So far, 91 approved candidates have been called. The selection process included objective tests, essay exams, and title evaluations.
