To Speed Up The Discharge Of Bulk Solids, A Crane Equipped With State-Of-The-Art Technology Has Arrived At The Port Of Paranaguá. The Equipment Request Was Made To Make The Process More Practical, Saving Time And Turning It Into Financial Return.

The Bulk Solids Segment In Paraná Will Benefit From A High-Tech Crane To Make The Discharge Process Faster And More Efficient. The Equipment Arrived At The Port Of Paranaguá Along With Three Other Cranes And Will Be Used With Focus On Imported Bulk Solids, Specifically Fertilizers.

Crane Is Classified As Special Equipment, With High Added Value, Making The Port Of Paranaguá An Even Greater Influence In The Area

Within The Set Of Cranes, Each Equipment Represents A Specific Project, So They All Arrive Disassembled And Will Be Organized By Specialists.

The Cargo Comes Directly From Rostock, Germany, With High Technology Integrated Into Each Developed Project, Demonstrating The State’s Concern In Ensuring Quality Items.

Speaking About The Arrival Of The Cranes, The Operations Director Of Portos Do Paraná, Luiz Teixeira Da Silva Júnior, Stressed: “The Ports Of Paraná Have A Certain Tradition In The Operation Of Special Cargo, Having Received Many Parts Of This Size And Others, Even Larger.”

The Use Of Renowned Equipment In The Market Establishes The Region As A Pioneer In High Technology And Efficiency, Achievements That Directly Impact The Economy Of Brazil, For Example, As Well As Specifically In The State Itself.

The LHM 550 Port Mobile Crane, Which Arrived In Paranaguá, Is A Reference In The Area And Was Acquired By The Company Harbor, Operating In The Port Sector.

It Is Seen As One Of The Largest Exponents In Bulk Discharge In Brazil And, So Far, It Is The Only One Of Its Kind In The State Of Paraná.

With A High Rate Of Capacity And Productivity For Bulk Discharge, The LHM 550 Will Accelerate The Production Rate And Contribute To The Long-Term Expansion Of The Area In The State.

LHM 550 Model Weighs Over 400 Tons, But The Infrastructure Is Prepared To Support It, As The Operations Director States

According To Luiz Teixeira Da Silva Júnior, The Pier At The Port Of Paranaguá Has The Necessary Reinforcement For The Equipment To Be Used At Its Full Potential For The Discharge Of Imported Bulk Solids.

In His Statement, He Added: “Moreover, The Productivity Per Berth At The Ports Of Paranaguá And Antonina Reinforces The Efficiency Of The Port Operators And The Workforce Employed,” Mentioning The Benefits To Be Achieved By The Entire Region With The New Acquisition.

Speaking About The Crane, Douglas Soares Pires, Who Is The Operations Manager At Harbor, Clarified The Reasons Why The LHM 550, Specifically, Was Chosen: “[The Model] Has A Capacity Of 154 Tons With Each Move And A Reach Of 54 Meters, Providing Greater Productivity And Service For Large Panamax, Post-Panamax, And Capesize Vessels.”

Considering The Safety Of The Port, The Choice Proved To Be Even More Viable, As It Brings Various Benefits In Productivity Scale, As Pires Emphasized: “It Is A Modern, Productive Equipment With A High Level Of Technology, Featuring An Accumulator Energy System And Electronics, Which Ensures Better Performance, High Safety Levels, Movement Control, And Short, Productive Work Cycles.”

The Presence Of The LHM 550 Crane Represents A Significant Step For The Trade Of Paraná In The Bulk Solids Segment. The High Technology Integrated Into The Equipment Will Promote A Faster And More Accurate Discharge Process, Positively Impacting The Entire System, As Expected.
