The New Phase Integrates Enhanced Management, Network Expansion, and Care Efficiency Across the National Operation
Hapvida is finally experiencing a phase characterized by management maturity, and therefore, by technological evolution and continuous expansion of its own network. This scenario, however, emerges after the complex integration phase with NotreDame Intermédica, thus reinforcing a structured agenda of corporate governance. Additionally, this movement produces measurable advances in medical assistance and cost management, which strengthens the national strategy.
Next, CEO Jorge Pinheiro emphasizes that the reorganization of internal processes was essential to consolidate the operation. Thus, he states that, after two years of adjustments, the company maintains investments and bets on innovation, always with ascending quality indicators. This understanding reinforces the perception that, with the integration completed, the company operates in a solid and coordinated manner.
Care Indicators Evolve Rapidly and Consolidate the New Phase
The results of assistance, in turn, show significant progress. Thus, the percentage of attendances conducted within fifteen minutes in emergency rooms increased from 38% to 75%. Furthermore, the backlog of surgeries over thirty days decreased from 30,000 to 3,000, evidencing growing efficiency. Another relevant data point indicates that maternal mortality dropped by 30%, a performance superior to the sector benchmarks.

Telemedicine has also become a central pillar of care, accumulating 700,000 video consultations per month, always with an average wait time of seven minutes. This occurs while qualified teams utilize artificial intelligence models capable of enhancing diagnoses. Preventive programs supported by AI, moreover, have reduced the incidence of heart attacks, strokes, and amputations among monitored patients by 40%.
Technological Advances Drive Clinical Integration and Enhance Efficiency
The company has internally developed about 200 AI projects, of which 90 are already operating daily in its own network. Among them, the diagnostic support system stands out, achieving 96% accuracy and more than 22 million analyses conducted. Moreover, an early detection tool for endometriosis reaches 90% precision, while the chest X-ray interpretation model registers 96% accuracy.
These solutions, therefore, integrate patient histories, resulting in scale gains and continuous oversight. This process reinforces the company’s technological positioning and simultaneously supports its operational efficiency.
Expansion of the Own Network Boosts National Care Capacity
Technological evolution progresses alongside the largest annual expansion of the own network ever recorded by the company. Thus, Hapvida will complete, by 2025, the opening of 1,000 new beds, with forecasts for another 1,200 by 2027.
Furthermore, new clinics, outpatient units, and diagnostic structures are continuously inaugurated across the five regions. Two hospitals planned for São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro will increase care capacity from 2027 onwards.
The accumulated performance of the network demonstrates the scale of operations: over 39 million medical consultations, alongside 86.6 million examinations in eleven months, complemented by 363 clinics and 305 diagnostic centers spread throughout the country. The structure employs 73,000 collaborators and serves 16 million beneficiaries, reinforcing its reach.
Corporate Governance Strengthens and Ensures Decision-Making Agility
The governance agenda has advanced in parallel. The organizational structure has undergone simplification, reducing vice-presidencies from 14 to 8, in addition to adding two new board members: José Galló and Marcus Fontoura. This reorganization, according to the CEO, increases decision-making speed and reduces the number of direct reports.
The strategy also includes a stock buyback program totaling 655 million reais, reinforcing long-term confidence.
The recent stabilization of seasonality, marked by the pressure of the third quarter due to the increase of respiratory diseases in the North and Northeast, contributes to the gradual recovery of margins.
Outlook Reinforces Efficiency and Maturity of the Integrated Operation
With a model based on an integrated own network and high verticalization, the company combines efficiency, reach, and cost predictability for multiple customer profiles. Projections for 2026 and 2027 indicate recovering margins, a slower pace of physical expansion, and greater technological and care maturity.
Thus, Jorge Pinheiro reinforces that “the fundamentals remain solid”, and that the commitment is long-term.
