Harris Pye Macaé Announces Selection Process for New Offshore Positions

The Positions Are for Offshore Activities in the Campos Basin for the Roles of Mechanic, Conventional Welders, and Pipefitters, Updated and Ongoing Opportunities.

Another good batch of offshore positions announced by Harris Pye through its operational hub in the city of Macaé-RJ, which, in turn, concentrates part of its operations in the oil areas, under a Petrobras contract for service provision. The available roles are for Mechanics, Conventional Welders, and Pipefitters. Here are the details of the opportunities:

Requirements for the Mechanic Role

• Education: Complete High School and/or Completed Technical Course in Industrial Mechanics.
• Technical Drawing Reading and Interpretation Course and/or knowledge in Technical Drawing Reading and Interpretation.
• Proven experience on work record of at least 2 years in the area performing the following activities: Plan Operations based on interpreting technical drawings, sketches, models, specifications, and other information, select machines and materials according to production demand applying methods for process control and instrumentation for measurement;
• Perform technical calculations consulting the product drawing. Calculate machining parameters evaluating tool consumption; Calculate feed, revolutions per minute (rpm), and strokes per minute (gpm). – Prepare machines, adjust, and operate; Execute machining processes, control product quality during the process (visual and dimensional), correct tool imperfections, record the batch of parts;
• Control the quality of machined parts, according to established standards, check instrument calibration, control the dimensions of the parts. – Prepare and operate various machines: forklift and overhead crane.
• Attend to internal customer requests, according to the established rules. – Participate in training, meetings, and development activities whenever called.
• Ensure hygiene and safety at work, practicing cleanliness and organization. – Practice and disseminate the Quality, Safety, and Environmental Policy. – Perform other tasks related to those described above, at the discretion of your immediate supervisor.

Conventional Welders and Pipefitters

• Complete high school.
• Proven experience in boilers (manufacturing, assembly, repairs).
• Good knowledge of plates and piping.
• Experience in interpreting drawings.
• Proven experience on work record of at least 2 years in the area.
