Heineken Wants To Ensure More Comfort For Employees And Offer Options For Working “Outside Home”

The idea of the Heineken Group is to ensure more comfort and offer options for working “outside home” in addition to the two offices in Itu and Vila Olímpia, which have traditional bars for moments of relaxation and connection between people.

Called hubs, the new “offices” are under construction in the cities of Guarulhos, Embu das Artes, and Sacomã. They are expected to be ready by the end of the year. In the city of Sumaré and the São Paulo neighborhood of Sacomã, the works are already completed.

Heineken intends to use the two operating offices as a learning experience. According to the multinational leader in alcoholic beverage manufacturing, the company has 18 posts in Sacomã and 28 in Sumaré.

Diversity And Inclusion

Raquel Zagui, the Vice-President of People at the Group, states that in addition to more comfort, there is another benefit with the mini offices. Heineken ends up encouraging diversity and inclusion because it has physical work points in more cities and locations close to the periphery.

Administrative employees of the Heineken Group will be able to return to the two larger offices of the company up to two times a week after the return is announced.

Heineken Brewery Will Begin Construction Of The New Factory In Minas Gerais, And Many Job Opportunities Are Coming

The construction works for the new Heineken factory in Pedro Leopoldo, Minas Gerais, are about to begin. Six months after the official announcement of the installation of a Heineken factory in the state, the company is awaiting the issuance of licenses from the State Secretariat of the Environment and Sustainable Development of Minas Gerais.

The company Tucumann Engenharia, from the city of Curitiba, Paraná, will carry out the works and is already offering vacancies for land clearing and drainage activities on the land that will host the factory. Heineken’s new venture has already received investments of R$ 1.8 billion and will be the 16th factory of the group in Brazil.

In May, it was reported that Heineken had already acquired land from the Banco de Desenvolvimento de Minas Gerais (BDMG), had purchased an area from Precon Engenharia, and was negotiating others nearby. At that time, the company did not comment on the subject, but the report had access to documents and information indicating that the construction will be close to where the venture would be. A source related to the negotiations, who requested to remain anonymous, detailed that the brewery installation will occur in a merging of four plots of land.

This time, Heineken announced that it will soon begin the land clearing for its future factory in Pedro Leopoldo and that the contracted company is recruiting professionals for this work. The company emphasized that it is waiting for the license to be issued by the responsible agency of the state of Minas Gerais.
