Launch Of New Motorcycles In The Brazilian Market Leaves Riders Excited. Honda, Bajaj And Shineray Announce New Motorcycles That Should Warm The Two-Wheel Segment, check it out!
Honda, Bajaj, and Shineray are brands that are growing in the two-wheel segment. Following a tremendous growth, these brands announced the launch of new motorcycles in the automotive market. At least four new models are expected to arrive, bringing joy to many motorcycle riders.
What Will Be The New Motorcycles From Honda, Bajaj And Shineray?
For this month of August, with 100% certainty, we have the new Bajaj Dominar 250, which is about to join the Dominar 160, 200, and 400 in the portfolio of the renowned Indian manufacturer. The model that could become a competitor to the Honda CB 300F Twister and Yamaha FZ25 is set to arrive in Brazil in August, according to the manufacturer.

Although in Brazil, the Dominar 160 and Dominar 200 motorcycles are part of the Pulsar line in India, where they are known as Pulsar NS160 and Pulsar NS200, they received the “Dominar” label for the national market. However, the new Dominar 250, which is among the Honda, Bajaj, and Shineray motorcycles for the market, positions itself as the true smaller sister of the Dominar 400.

Even with the launch of new Bajaj motorcycles confirmed in Brazil, the price of the Bajaj Dominar 250 has not yet been disclosed, but the expectation is for an attractive value for what the model offers. Certainly, it will be cheaper than the Dominar 400, which is currently offered for R$ 24,990.
The model is arriving in Brazil to further strengthen the brand’s presence in the local market, offering a new option for Brazilian motorcyclists. With national production, the expectation is that the model will quickly carve out its space.
Shineray Seeks To Conquer The Motorcycle Market With New Launches
In an official statement, Shineray announced a true schedule of new motorcycle launches this year. The main model is the Storm 200, a crossover of Lifan, which delivers about 20 hp of power, with a liquid-cooled engine.
This model, which is among the news from Honda, Bajaj, and Shineray, features a six-speed transmission, alloy wheels, meaning it’s a rugged motorcycle.
Shineray also confirmed the arrival of the new SHI 250 and, although details about the models have not been revealed, the expectation is that this will be a new trail in the Brazilian market, becoming a bigger sister of the SHI 175 line.
The new Trail from Shineray is expected to bring a larger displacement, which is already seen in the SHI 175, SHI 175 EFI, and SHI 175s EFI models. With a greater performance than its siblings, now all that remains to know is about its design. There are also no details yet about the new prices for Shineray motorcycles.
Will Honda Also Launch A New Motorcycle In August?
The Biz maintains an average of 23 thousand registrations per month. To give you an idea, the Biz is the third best-selling two-wheeled vehicle in the country, behind only the CG 160 and the NXR 160 Bros, both also from Honda, followed by the Pop 110i, the fourth best seller.
Thus, like much of the Honda line, it will have to undergo changes throughout 2024. The goal is to reach 2025 already complying with the Promot 5 emissions legislation and also keeping up with the launch of new motorcycles.
Depending on the model, this usually requires anything from minor changes in components like engine and exhaust to profound changes, including the adoption of a new engine, for example. Currently, the motorcycle is sold in two versions, with an engine of 110 cm³ or 125 cm³.
The 110 cm³ engine is different from the one that was being used in the Pop, which is also different from the current one, recently presented, which maintains the same displacement but is completely different from the one previously used. It is still unknown when the new motorcycle will arrive and even how much it will cost.
