With 3.8 V6 Engine, Space for Eight People and High-End Finishing, the Hyundai PALISADE 2025 Impresses, But Its Salty Price and the Arrival of the New Generation Already Raise Doubts on Whether It Is Really a Good Choice.
The Hyundai PALISADE 2025 has arrived in Brazil as a true giant of SUVs. With a respectable V6 engine, space for up to eight people, and a luxurious finish, it seems like the perfect choice for those seeking comfort and sophistication. But is it worth the investment? Let’s uncover the ups and downs of this SUV for you to decide if it really is the ideal car.
Design and Luxury – The Visual That Impresses
The Hyundai PALISADE 2025 does not go unnoticed. Its robust front, with black piano details and full LED lighting, conveys modernity and elegance. Even the brand’s logo has been highlighted with a refined touch. At the rear, the look remains impressive, with ample space in the trunk and configuration options for up to eight seats. It’s the kind of car that turns heads wherever it goes.
Inside the PALISADE, comfort is evident. The third row of seats accommodates passengers with more space than many competing SUVs. The interior finish combines high-quality materials with cutting-edge technology, including USB ports in all rows and even a microphone to facilitate communication with those in the back.

V6 Engine and Performance – Strength or Just Appearance of This Hyundai?

Under the hood, we find a 3.8 V6 aspirated engine with direct injection, capable of generating 295 horsepower. It’s a reliable and well-known engine, but it does not impress in performance due to the vehicle’s weight. The 0 to 100 km/h is achieved in 7.8 seconds, which is decent, but far from exhilarating.
Be prepared to refuel frequently. In the city, fuel consumption is around 5.5 km/l, while on the highway it can reach 10 km/l if you drive moderately. It’s a high cost, but expected for an SUV of this size with an aspirated engine.
Technology and Connectivity – Modern, but with Limitations
The Hyundai PALISADE 2025 features a complete multimedia center, but with a frustrating limitation: support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay only via cable. In a car of this price range, that seems outdated. Still, features like a 360º camera and intelligent driving modes are positive points.
In terms of safety, the model does not disappoint. It comes with adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assistance, and disc brakes on all four wheels. However, it lacks blind-spot alerts on the external mirrors, something common in competing models.
The Problem with the Hyundai PALISADE 2025 in Brazil
The PALISADE arrives in Brazil with a price of approximately R$ 450 thousand. The big problem is that abroad, the model is already receiving a complete update in 2025. This means that those who buy now may face significant depreciation when the new generation arrives.
When analyzing options like the Toyota Highlander and Land Rover Defender, the PALISADE does offer good value in the large SUV segment. However, the competition with diesel or hybrid engines may be more attractive for those seeking economy and more advanced technology.
The Hyundai PALISADE 2025 is an impressive SUV in many aspects, but the high price and the imminence of a new generation are red flags. If you value interior space and comfort, it could be a good option. However, for those who prefer a more updated model or better fuel economy, it’s worth waiting or considering alternatives in the market.
