In addition, within this reserve of vacancies, there are also criteria that prioritize low-income candidates, those who self-declare as black, brown, or Indigenous, quilombola candidates, and people with disabilities. These criteria aim to broaden access to technical and higher education for historically marginalized groups, reinforcing IFSP’s commitment to equity.
Selection Process Focused on Technical Knowledge
The selection process for admission to the technical courses at IFSP will take place on October 20, 2024. The exams will last three hours and will consist of 30 multiple-choice questions covering content from Portuguese Language and Mathematics.
The locations and times of the exams will be disclosed on October 17, allowing candidates to prepare in advance. It is worth noting that adequate preparation for this exam is essential, as the content covered will be from 6th to 9th grade of elementary school, which requires a comprehensive review by the candidates.
Open Registrations with Possibilities for Fee Waiver
Registrations for the IFSP selection process are already open and will continue until September 8, 2024. To participate, candidates must register exclusively on the institute’s website and provide their CPF on the registration form.
The registration fee is R$ 50 for integrated technical courses and R$ 20 for concurrent or subsequent courses. However, it is possible to request a fee waiver until August 18, provided the candidate meets the income criteria and has completed all of elementary school in a public school or with a full scholarship in a private school.
The offer of technical courses by the Federal Institute of São Paulo represents a valuable opportunity for young people who wish to specialize in strategic areas and enter the job market with a competitive advantage.
With vacancies in several cities in the state and teaching modalities that cater to different student profiles, IFSP establishes itself as a reference institution in technical education in Brazil.
