IFSP Is Accepting Applications for Free Courses in Araraquara, with 40 Slots for Programming and 40 for Libras, Available In-Person and Online.

The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo (IFSP) is offering slots for free courses at the Araraquara campus, aimed at those looking to enhance their skills in areas like programming and Brazilian Sign Language (Libras).

Applications are open, and the courses are available in both in-person and distance learning formats. These opportunities are ideal for those seeking professional qualification in high-demand areas of the job market.

Opportunities for Free Courses at IFSP

IFSP offers a total of 80 slots for four free courses, with options for remote and in-person learning.

The Introduction to Python with Data Science course will be conducted in EAD format, with remote and synchronous classes on Mondays from 8 PM to 9:40 PM.

The Introduction to Brazilian Sign Language course will be taught in person, with classes on Mondays from 4 PM to 7 PM.

Another option for Libras is the Basic Libras course, which will also be held in EAD format, with remote and synchronous classes on Thursdays from 4 PM to 7 PM.

For those who already have some knowledge of Libras, the Libras Conversation course is available in person, with classes on Wednesdays from 2 PM to 5 PM.

Application Process for Free Courses

Applications for the free courses at IFSP are open until April 1, 2025.

To apply for the Introduction to Python with Data Science course, interested individuals must have knowledge of programming logic.

For the Libras Conversation course, candidates must have a good understanding and expression in Libras.

The other courses offered by the Araraquara campus of IFSP do not require prerequisites, making it easier for all interested parties to participate.

Applications can be made through an electronic form, where candidates must fill in the requested information.
