The PROSPERITY II Thermal Power Plant Will Be Built in Camaçari, Bahia, in a Contract Signed This Friday by Imetame. The Company Also Started an Offshore Selection Process Today for Petrobras Contracts
Bahia, October 18, 2019 – Imetame participated this Friday (18) in the New Energy Auction (LEN) A-6/2019 promoted by ANEEL in the “Gas Thermal Availability” modality and was blessed with the contract for the “PROSPERITY II” project for generating 33.4 MW, with commercial operation expected to begin in 2025.
The plant will be built in Camaçari-BA, where the PROSPERITY I Thermal Power Plant is currently in operation with a generation capacity of 28 MW. After the implementation of this new project, the company will generate 61.4 MW in the Gas to Wire modality with gas produced in the Onshore Cardeal Fields of the Northeast and Cardeal Amarelo, in Camaçari-BA, operated by Imetame Energia. - Offshore Welding Inspector – Salvage Course, complete high school, qualification in ultrasound/liquid penetrant/magnetic particles and certification in welding inspection
