MTR Solar And GoodWe Launch A Hybrid Energy Solution For The Agribusiness Aiming For A Reduction Of Up To 70% In Energy Costs And Energy Autonomy For Rural Properties.

MTR Solar, in partnership with GoodWe, presents a revolutionary hybrid energy solution for the agricultural sector, offering a reduction of up to 70% in energy costs. This new solution aims to provide energy autonomy for rural properties, ensuring more efficient and economical agricultural activities.

Rural producers who currently spend about R$ 750 thousand per month on irrigation systems that operate with diesel generators can now rely on the ‘MTR BESS Hybrid Agro Solution’, which combines diesel, solar energy, and batteries. This complete and customized energy system can not only significantly reduce costs but also ensure a more stable energy supply for irrigation activities. This initiative allows for greater sustainability and long-term savings for farmers.

Reduction of Energy Costs for The Producer

The product promises a lower energy cost for the producer, with uninterrupted operation throughout the 12 months of the year. The proposal includes a solar plant, generator, and electro center with a battery annex, offering installation flexibility on any type of terrain. The initial investment required can be financed starting at R$ 1 million, depending on the energy storage time, which can reach up to 24 hours of autonomy. The payback period for this investment is estimated to be between 3 to 5 years. For agribusiness, this new solution will allow the producer to plant 2 to 3 times more on the same area of land, potentially increasing soybean production by up to 150%.

Brazil, August 15, 2024 – Importance of Brazilian Agribusiness

Brazilian agribusiness is one of the most effective economic driving forces in the country, contributing significantly to the country’s GDP. Brazil’s position as a major producer and exporter of food, fibers, and energy supply is widely recognized. The diversity of crops and the use of advanced technologies make the sector one of the most productive in the world. Furthermore, favorable climatic conditions and the vast territory of the country aid in the growth and optimization of the field.

The constant pursuit of optimization and savings in the field is essential for maintaining the competitiveness and sustainability of the sector. Technologies such as drones, sensors, and GPS are used for monitoring and production management, while sustainable management and cultivation techniques ensure efficiency. MTR Solar, a leader in the supply of solar energy systems, is bringing integrated hybrid energy solutions to the agricultural sector, aiming for greater autonomy.

Strategic Partnership and Energy Independence

MTR Solar, in partnership with GoodWe, launched the MTR BESS (Battery Energy Storage System – Battery Energy Storage System) aimed at agribusiness. This partnership provides energy independence through customized solar systems, combining MTR’s expertise in solar energy and the quality of GoodWe inverters. This will result in significant energy independence for rural properties, reducing operational costs and improving the sustainability of agricultural operations.

The solar energy system will provide security and stability in energy supply, minimizing interruptions. A highly qualified technical team will be available for support from project to operations and maintenance of the system. The flexibility of installation on any terrain is an additional advantage, offering a complete and efficient solution that adapts to the specific needs of the location.

Sustainable Solutions and Savings

The operational cost of a 1 to 2 MW solar plant starts at R$ 1 million, with a payback of 3 to 5 years. With more irrigation and optimized processes on the same area, production can significantly increase, generating not only more energy but also operational gains.

MTR offers a complete service to the rural producer, from the purchase of modules to the delivery of the entire structure through CT Botelho, a logistics company of the MTR Group. With this project, MTR reaffirms its commitment to creating innovative and sustainable solutions for Brazilian agribusiness, helping producers become more competitive and promoting sustainable development in the sector.

MTR And Its Commitment to Sustainability

Solar energy is a clean and renewable alternative that can reduce dependence on fossil fuels and improve energy efficiency in rural properties. With this innovation, rural producers can invest in more efficient technologies, reduce irrigation costs by up to 70%, and decrease greenhouse gas emissions. The combination of drones and management systems for crop monitoring increases productivity and reduces costs, ensuring a more promising future for the agricultural sector.

MTR Solar, in partnership with GoodWe, is committed to providing a hybrid energy solution for agribusiness, ensuring the quality and reliability of photovoltaic systems. This integrated system includes a solar plant, generator, electro center, and high-capacity battery bank, ensuring efficiency and security of the energy system.

Expansion and Future Vision of MTR

MTR already has 1.8 GWp installed, over 480 plants served, and 2.2 million modules installed. By 2024, the goal is to reach 2 GWp in equipment in Brazil and Latin America. The company stands out as the only distributed generation distributor to operate under the ‘one stop shop’ concept, making it easier for customers to acquire all necessary equipment from a single supplier.

With a commitment to offering complete solar energy solutions, MTR collaborates with the best manufacturers and excels in customizing solar energy solutions according to the specific needs of rural producers, reaffirming its fundamental role in the search for a more sustainable and competitive agribusiness.
