The New Lamborghini Car Will Have a Combustion Engine, But in Hybrid Format It Will Emit About 30% Less Pollutants
Lamborghini, one of the most famous car manufacturers in the world, is gradually revealing details about the successor to the Aventador, called the LP744. This time, the automaker revealed that the Lamborghini car will have a V12 combustion engine, according to the website QuatroRodas.
The Lamborghini supercar would maintain its V12 combustion engine, but the news is that the car will be in hybrid model. In addition to the engine, the Lamborghini car will have three electric motors and may complement the new 6.5 V12 engine, which is positioned with the engine’s crankshaft toward the rear, aiming to exceed 1,000 hp of power.
Besides the Lamborghini car’s engine, the transmission is a brand new feature, as it will be automated, with dual-clutch, having eight speeds, meaning it will be the first time the transmission will be located behind the engine and transversely.

The lithium-ion batteries will be located in the transmission tunnel and will power the three electric motors of the Lamborghini car. The three motors will also drive the car without using the V12 engine which, according to Lamborghini, will emit about 30% less pollutants than the previous car.
Lamborghini Will Keep Famous Four-Wheel Drive of the New Car
The V12 engines used by Lamborghini have been utilized by the brand since its foundation and, according to the automaker, the new 6.5 gasoline engine that will be embedded in the new car will be the lightest and most powerful ever built, boasting a power output of 825 hp, 9250 rpm, and 72.5 kgfm of torque at 6,750 rpm.
In addition to this standard being maintained, the four-wheel drive is another brand hallmark that will remain in the new Lamborghini car. The front axle will be powered by two electric motors and the rear axle by the other motor, located above the transmission. In electric car mode, only the front axles will be engaged, totaling 1,015 hp.
The Lamborghini car’s battery has a power of 3.8 kWh and can be recharged through braking and by the gasoline V12 engine, as well as being able to be charged in about 30 minutes at a household outlet.
