The specifications of the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max have been leaked, and the highlight is a dual 200 MP camera with a new 22-nanometer technology that promises to consume less energy and capture details in shadows and bright areas using LOFIC HDR.
According to Kiva Allgood, President and CEO of Sarcos, “this collaboration is significant for the industry, as it will allow Sarcos and VideoRay customers to easily acquire a pre-integrated system that combines the best remotely operated vehicles from VideoRay with our advanced Sea Class system with one or two arms”.
The Sarcos Guardian Sea Class robotic system has a modular design that easily integrates with VideoRay’s portable one-person ROV line. VideoRay systems can operate in currents of up to four knots.
In this way, the companies have joined forces to innovate in the offshore market with an even more efficient system for repair, support, and maintenance operations.
The Guardian Sea Class ROV robotic system can be operated with one or two six-degree-of-freedom arms and works at depths of up to one kilometer (1,000 meters) for up to two hours at a time.
Additionally, it can also be teleoperated or operated via supervised autonomy.
The system is also electrically powered, eliminating the weight, size, and additional costs of hydraulic power unit systems, ensuring even more operational quality.
“Our ROVs fit naturally into the Guardian Sea Class system and, when combined, we believe the solution package offers the most advanced underwater inspection capability on the market today,” said Chris Gibson, CEO of VideoRay.
Partnership Between Sarcos and VideoRay Aims to Provide a Complete and Efficient Robotic System to Its Clients
The collaboration between Sarcos and VideoRay plans to offer offshore market customers a complete and integrated solution for underwater inspection and maintenance.
Combining VideoRay’s remotely operated vehicles with the Sarcos Guardian Sea Class robotic system, customers will have access to one of the most advanced and efficient solutions currently available on the market.
Furthermore, the modularity of the Guardian Sea Class system allows it to be easily integrated with VideoRay’s portable ROV line, providing greater flexibility and adaptability to customer needs.
The collaboration between the companies represents a significant step for the underwater robotic systems industry.
By combining their respective products and expertise, the two companies will be able to provide greater efficiency, safety, and effectiveness across a wide range of underwater applications.
Now, the global offshore market will have an even more efficient option when adopting the Sarcos and VideoRay Guardian Sea Class ROV robotic system.
