During this event, which brings together the largest leaders and specialists in the energy sector, Sodexo showcases immersive activities and an autonomous micromarket for visitors to experience the differentials and expertise of Sodexo in the offshore and onshore sectors.

Launch of Offshore Living and Immersive Experiences

In addition, Sodexo will promote the official launch of Offshore Living, a maritime hospitality solution from the company aimed at enhancing the experience of professionals who work on board. At the Sodexo booth, ROG participants will have the opportunity to speak with the company’s team of specialists and, through virtual reality, experience an immersive experience of the food and facilities services offered, making Sodexo a global leader in hospitality.

In addition to the booth, where participants can interact with Sodexo’s team and discover the innovations offered, on September 25, Sodexo will be present at the DE&I Forum.

Debates on Diversity and Inclusion

This forum is a space dedicated to debate and sharing of best practices to make the energy sector more diverse and inclusive. Lilian Rauld, Sodexo’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager, will participate in a discussion on the role of technology in promoting diversity and accessibility within companies. ‘For us at Sodexo, it is a great satisfaction to be part of this event for the first time, which is a milestone in the necessary energy transformation not only in Brazil but globally as well,’ she stated.

Angélica Bastarrica, Vice President of Energy&Resources at Sodexo, emphasized the importance of this event as a unique opportunity to showcase its food and facilities solutions, both offshore and in onshore energy, with all of the global expertise of the French company and strong local presence focused on people and sustainability.

Offshore Living Solution and Customer Engagement

Working far from home is the reality for professionals aboard vessels at sea, facing distance from family and challenging conditions. With these professionals in mind, Sodexo presents the ‘Offshore Living’ to the Brazilian market, a new maritime hospitality solution that aims to evoke the feeling of ‘being at home, but away from it,’ providing more comfort, safety, and well-being to everyone on board. This solution is structured around four main pillars: food, accommodations, safety, and support services.

The new experience starts with a personalized and humanized reception of crew members up to disembarkation, including a thoughtfully crafted dining experience, much tastier, nutritious, and sustainable – from ingredient selection, supply chain management, menu preparation to unique dish presentation. Meals tailored to the conditions and needs of offshore professionals, with options that cater to different tastes and dietary restrictions.

Care and Sustainability at Sodexo

‘Promoting hospitality encompasses everything from basic to the more complex issues. Sodexo has global expertise and can therefore provide an experience to its consumers with clean and organized spaces, meals prepared with culinary techniques, very tasty and healthy, as well as laundry and concierge services. All of this is essential to ensure that the time people spend on board is more welcoming and comfortable,’ explains Cinthia Lira, Marketing Director at Sodexo. This care allows the company to anticipate the daily challenges of offshore vessels and meet its clients’ needs, integrating this caring outlook into the DNA of Sodexo.

The launch of Offshore Living also reflects Sodexo’s commitment to sustainability, as practices that minimize environmental impact throughout the supply chain will be reinforced, from food sourcing, waste reduction, full use of food to waste disposal. In facilities services, the company adopts best practices using sustainable products, professional low-consumption equipment, preserving human health and the environment, optimizing financial resources, and managing risks.
