Aeronautics Selection Process Will Register Professionals for Temporary Military Service Across the Country

If you want to join the military career, the time has come. The Brazilian Air Force (FAB) has opened applications for the selection process of Brazilian Air Force Officer, focusing on the recruitment of professionals with higher education for temporary service.

The positions are aimed at candidates who intend to work as Second Class Reserve Officers (ORC) in strategic areas of the Aeronautics. The selection is valid for the years 2025 and 2026, with applications open until April 23, 2025.

The positions are distributed across different Brazilian states, according to the FAB’s demand in each region. Approved candidates may be assigned to Aeronautics units throughout the national territory.

Registration and Requirements for the Selection Process

Registration for the selection process of Brazilian Air Force Officer is conducted entirely online. The period is from April 2 to April 23, 2025, on the official website: convocacaotemporarios.fab.mil.br

Interested individuals must have a higher education diploma and meet the specific requirements described in the Call Notice, including:

Age and physical conditions compatible with the function
Professional qualification validated by documentation
Specific medical examinations
Curricular evaluation

The final classification will be based on the analysis of documents and the validation of candidates’ curricula.

What Is It Like to Be a Temporary Officer in the FAB?

Being a Brazilian Air Force Officer, even on a temporary basis, represents an extra opportunity to serve the country with stability, training, and institutional prestige. During the period of service, the temporary military receives:

Compensation compatible with the position
Medical-hospital assistance benefits
Food, uniform, and accommodation (in some cases)
Training and the possibility to participate in high-responsibility missions

The service time can be extended annually, for up to eight years, according to the needs of the FAB.
