Partnership Between Metro SP and SENAI Offers 32 Apprentice Positions for Free SENAI Course in Electronics. Selection Based on School Grades; Applications Open Today (04/29).

The São Paulo Metro (São Paulo Metropolitan Company) and SENAI (National Service for Industrial Training) have opened applications for a Public Selection Process. The aim is to fill 32 Apprentice positions. These positions are linked to the free SENAI course in the field of Electronics Technician. Candidate selection will be conducted through the analysis of school performance.

Learning Opportunity: Partnership Metro SP and SENAI

This selection is the result of a partnership between Metro SP and SENAI. The course offered is Electronics Technician, completely free of charge. The 32 positions are for working as an apprentice within the São Paulo Metropolitan Company.

The technical course will be held at SENAI “Anchieta” School, located in Vila Mariana, São Paulo. The apprenticeship contract has a fixed term of 24 months, linked to the duration of the course.

Technical Course in Electronics: Positions and Benefits for Apprentices

There are 32 positions available for the apprenticeship program. There is a reservation of positions for people with disabilities (PwD), according to legislation. The apprentice hired by Metro SP will be entitled to:

Scholarship: R$ 910.80.
Meal Allowance: R$ 1,158.24 per month.
Food Allowance: R$ 657.34 per month.
Metro-SP Service Ticket (free access to the Metro/CPTM system, except for lines granted to private initiative).
Transportation Voucher.
Optional: Supplemental Pension, Health Plan, and Group Life Insurance. It is important to note that being hired as an apprentice does not guarantee employment at Metro SP after the termination of the contract.

Free SENAI Course: Who Can Participate in the Selection?

To compete for one of the positions in this free SENAI course, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Age: Must be at least 14 years old by 07/28/2025. The maximum age should allow the course to be completed before the candidate turns 24 (there is an exception for candidates with disabilities).
Education: Must have completed High School OR be enrolled, at a minimum, in the 2nd year of High School.
Availability: The course has a part-time schedule, occurring daily from 1:25 PM to 4:40 PM.

Online Application and Selection by Grades: How to Compete for the Positions

Applications are exclusively online. They begin at 2:00 PM on April 29, 2025 (today). The deadline is 9:00 PM on May 12, 2025. Interested parties must access the website of SENAI “Anchieta”: http://www.sp.senai.br/conectividade. It is necessary to read the complete Announcement.

The candidate must fill out the electronic application form. It will be necessary to register the final grades for the following subjects: Mathematics, Portuguese, History, and Geography from the 9th year of Elementary School II; and Natural Sciences from the 8th year of Elementary School II. It is mandatory to attach the school report or report card that proves these grades. The selection will be based on the simple average of these grades. Candidates with an average lower than 5.00 will be eliminated.

Keep an eye on the upcoming dates of the selection process:

Ranking List: Disclosure starting at 2:00 PM on May 21, 2025.
Medical Evaluation: Calling the classified candidates for the elimination stage.
Medical Evaluation Results: Disclosure of the approved candidates starting at 2:00 PM on June 16, 2025.
Enrollment at SENAI: Period from June 16, 2025 to June 18, 2025. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to keep track of all publications and calls on the official websites of Metro SP and SENAI Anchieta.
