On December 3, 2025, the Goiano Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology (IF Goiano) published Edital PROPPI No. 35/2025, opening a selection process for two fully distance lato sensu specializations, with expected entry for the first semester of 2026. There is a specific rule for women who are mothers: for candidates with children up to 2 years old, the considered period extends to 7 years, allowing for the inclusion of academic and professional activities carried out over a longer interval, helping to reduce inequalities generated by absences or breaks in careers.
Quotas, Inclusion and Tiebreak Criteria
The edital from the Goiano Federal Institute maintains 30% of the places reserved for black, brown or indigenous candidates (PPI) and for people with disabilities (PCD), in line with policies of inclusion and diversity in public postgraduate education.
