A total of 2,085 places are offered across on-site and distance (EaD) courses. The goal of the courses is to provide higher qualification in different fields of knowledge. The courses are offered in two modalities: on-site and distance (EaD), with workload varying according to the course. The selection process at IFFar offers 1,855 places for on-site courses and 230 places for online courses (EaD). The on-site bachelor’s degree courses are distributed across several campuses such as Alegrete, Santa Rosa, Santo Ângelo and others. Distance courses are offered through specific hubs, such as Uruguaiana, São Vicente do Sul and others, ensuring wide regional distribution.

Selection Process for Bachelor’s Degree Courses
The selection process reserves spots for affirmative action policies and also for people with disabilities (PwD). The selection is based on the candidate’s performance in Enem from the 2009 edition onwards, with candidates scoring the highest being classified. For those opting for quotas, it is necessary to have completed high school entirely in public schools.
Registration Requirements
To participate, candidates must have completed high school or be about to complete it by the date of confirmation of the place. Additionally, it is necessary to have participated in Enem, choosing the year of best performance. The registration must be done online, and it is recommended that candidates have access to a computer and internet to keep track of the process.
