The Opportunity You Dreamed Of Has Arrived! Enrollment Open For Free Courses On Aircraft Electrical And Ignition Systems
The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of São Paulo (IFSP) announced the opening of enrollment for a new cycle of online extension courses in the field of aeronautics, titled “Aircraft Electrical Systems.” The courses, which are completely free and offered in the distance learning modality (EAD), have a workload of 50 hours and provide a certificate issued by IFSP itself.
Additionally, the Institute is also launching another course in the area, “Aircraft Ignition Systems,” which also has a duration of 50 hours.
Upon approval and enrollment, according to the criteria established in the Notice, candidates will have access to the course starting from September 5, 2024.

Free Online (EAD) Course In Aircraft Electrical Systems
In aircraft, electrical installations can involve miles of wires and cables, especially in large airplanes. Performing maintenance on these systems can be a challenging task if the professional does not master the fundamental concepts and information about the aircraft’s electrical system. For larger aircraft, this need for knowledge is even more crucial.
This course was developed to equip professionals with the necessary knowledge about technical terms and the most common procedures applied in the maintenance of aircraft electrical systems. The goal is to increase efficiency in executing these tasks, addressing in detail the different aspects related to the topic.
The systems and procedures discussed in the course are based on standards established by the National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC). Thus, the course also serves as preparation for the theoretical knowledge exams stipulated in Brazilian Aeronautical Certification Regulation No. 65 (RBHA 65) or any other regulation that replaces it, specifically regarding aircraft electrical systems.
Free Online (EAD) Course In Aircraft Ignition Systems
The course covers the ignition systems used in conventional engines, alternative engines, and gas turbines for aircraft. The content includes key components, operating principles, and necessary inspection and maintenance procedures. Additionally, the course offers demonstrative videos of laboratory practices in conventional engines.
This course also aims to increase efficiency in aircraft maintenance by addressing essential aspects of the topic. Like the previous course, it can be used as a preparatory foundation for the theoretical exams required by Brazilian Aeronautical Certification Regulation (RBHA) 65 or any future regulations that replace it, regarding aircraft ignition systems.
The course is of great relevance both academically and socially, aimed at professionals and students in the aeronautical field. It is expected that participants will gain a practical and in-depth understanding of the techniques and procedures necessary for the efficient maintenance of ignition systems.
Enrollment For The Free Online Courses At The Federal Institute
Enrollment for the courses is open exclusively online and can be completed by filling out a form available on the IFSP website. The enrollment period started on August 27, 2024, and will run until 11:59 PM on September 2, 2024.
There is no enrollment fee, and all candidates who meet the requirements established in the Notice will be able to access the course starting from September 5, 2024. The complete Notice, which includes the link to the enrollment form, is available on the official IFSP website.
