These courses are completely free and range from integrated high school to technical to bachelor’s degrees in education, general studies, and technology.

How to Enroll in Free Courses at the Federal Institute
Enrollment for the 2025/1 Selection Process runs from September 26 to October 14, 2024. But be careful: to secure your spot, you will need to go through a selection process. Depending on the course and campus chosen, this selection may be done in three ways: exam, using the Enem score (from 2019 onwards), or even by lottery. The details of how the selection for each course will be conducted are available on the IF website.
For those who cannot afford the enrollment fee, it is possible to request a fee waiver (free enrollment) until September 25, 2024. Simply visit the official website (ingresso.ifrs.edu.br) and follow the indicated steps. The results of the fee waiver requests will be announced on September 26.
