Training for Young People and Adults in Various Fields
The initiative from IF Baiano is divided into two types of courses: integrated and subsequent.
In the integrated courses, targeted at students who have completed or are completing the 9th year of elementary school, the training lasts three years and includes both the high school curriculum and the technical training in the chosen area.
The subsequent courses are intended for individuals who have already completed high school or are about to finish it, with an average duration of 18 months.
According to the public notice, the selection process for the integrated courses will be based on the Final Average, calculated from the grades of Portuguese Language, Mathematics, History, Science, and Geography from the 8th grade, according to the analysis of the submitted transcript.
Among the opportunities offered, the Agriculture course stands out as one of the main options, available in cities like Guanambi, Senhor do Bonfim, and Itapetinga, with various options for both integrated and subsequent courses.
The Computer Science area is also a highly sought-after alternative, with openings in cities like Alagoinhas, Governador Mangabeira, and Bom Jesus da Lapa.
In the case of distance courses (EaD), there is a highlight for the courses in Sales, School Secretary, and Multimedia Didactics in locations such as Governador Mangabeira and Uruçuca.
Qualification and Employability
The proposal from IF Baiano is to ensure that the population of Bahia has access to quality training that aligns with the demands of the local and national job market.
According to data from the institute itself, the offering of free technical courses aims to encourage the professional qualification of young people and adults, facilitating entry and retention in the job market in strategic sectors of the economy.
Free technical training thus presents itself as an important alternative for those seeking quick, practical, and efficient placement in the job market.
