With enrollment ending this Thursday (26), IFMS opens its doors to candidates interested in various technical fields, offering courses that last three years.
According to the institution, the registration fee is R$ 20, accessible to ensure more people can compete for spots. For those without internet access, IFMS provides computers at its Service Centers (Cerel), reinforcing digital inclusion.
More Than a Thousand Slots in Various Technical Areas
According to IFMS, 1,760 slots are being offered in several cities across the state, such as Campo Grande, Dourados, and Três Lagoas. The opportunities span 11 areas, including administration, information technology, mechanics, and agriculture, among others.
According to the institution itself, this variety allows students to specialize in high-demand sectors in the job market.
Among the available courses are Administration, Animal Husbandry, Electrotechnics, Internet Computing, Systems Development, and many others that, according to specialists, are in high demand and can guarantee good job opportunities in the future.
To secure one of these spots, candidates must have completed the 9th year of elementary school by January 2025, when classes begin.
Additionally, it is necessary to have a Cadastro de Pessoa Física (CPF) registered in one’s name. This requirement, as stated by the institution, is essential for the enrollment process and participation in the course.
Test in October and Results Expected in December
The selection test will be held on October 20, and candidates will have four hours to answer 30 questions covering the areas of Portuguese language, mathematics, and general knowledge.
According to the notice, it is important for candidates to arrive at the test site with an official identification document, in addition to a blue or black pen, pencil, and eraser. Quick snacks and transparent water bottles without labels are also allowed.
IFMS highlighted that the results will be announced on December 17, giving candidates enough time to prepare for the enrollment stage and the start of classes in the following year.

The courses will be offered in various cities in Mato Grosso do Sul, allowing students from different regions to participate. Among the cities confirmed by the Federal Institute are:
