The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN), Macau campus, has announced the opening of registrations for the free courses of the long-awaited Knowledge Wells Project. The Notice is available on the official IFRN website, containing information on the distribution of vacancies and starting dates for each course. This initiative is the result of a partnership between IFRN Macau, the Foundation for Support to Education and Technological Development of RN (FUNCERN), and 3R PETROLEUM, aimed at professional qualification and strengthening the oil and gas sector in the region.

Registrations, which began on last Monday, February 5, are scheduled to close on February 8, at 11:59 PM.

About the Free Courses from the Federal Institute
The free courses, aimed at the area of oil and gas, promise to enhance the skills and knowledge of participants at no cost, contributing to the development of the region.
The offer includes five essential free courses for the sector, each with a workload of 80 class hours.
Participants will have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in crucial topics, such as: Properties and Processing of Oil, Pumps, Compressors and Electro-automation, Artificial Lift of Oil, Instrumentation and Measurement Applied to the Oil and Gas Industry, in addition to Industrial Piping Applied to Oil.
These subjects have been carefully selected to provide a comprehensive and specialized training aligned with the demands of the oil and gas sector, offering participants a solid and practical foundation in each area.
What Are the Requirements to Compete for Places in the Free Courses from the Federal Institute?
The participation requirements include a minimum age of 18 years and the completion of high school or being in the final year.
Each applicant can apply for up to two free courses, with a total of 200 vacancies available.
Of this total, 140 are allocated for the external public, 50 for IFRN students, and 10 for people with disabilities.
When Will Classes Start?
Classes are scheduled to take place every Tuesday and Thursday evenings, facilitating access for those interested who have other daytime activities.
Additionally, participants will receive a scholarship of R$ 380.00, aimed at assisting with transportation and food expenses.
