The Federal Institute of Mato Grosso (IFMT) is offering more than 200 vacancies in free undergraduate courses. The courses will be structured in the EAD modality and are divided into 4 areas spread across the state.

The mentioned Public Notice establishes the rules for offering vacancies in free courses for undergraduate EAD in 19 face-to-face support centers linked to the Open University System of Brazil, promoting a greater number of vacancies and opportunities in several cities that do not have university campuses.
Vacancies are being made available for four options of EAD courses in Education and Technology. Among the courses are:

Take a free technical course at the Federal Institute: there are over 2,400 open spots in free technical courses such as Construction, Electrotechnics, Human Resources, Confectionery, and many other options; the opportunities are available online and in-person at IFSC.

Know How to Register for Free Undergraduate Courses at IFMT
Registrations must be made through the institution’s website by October 27 of this year. The registration fee is R$ 50.
The criterion used to classify candidates was the analysis of grades and concepts from the 1st and 2nd year of high school, as listed on the Student Report Card and Official Transcript in the subjects of Portuguese, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, History, and Geography, following the National Common Curricular Base – BNCC, as set forth in the Public Notice.
Classified candidates will be called in descending order of points, considering the grades obtained in the transcript. Thus, the candidate must follow all stages of the selection process.
The public notice was published on September 20. Registrations will be open from September 27 to October 25, 2023, which is the same period to request a fee waiver. The preliminary result of the fee waiver benefits will be released on November 6.
On the 13th of the same month, the last day for payment of the registration fee will be. On December 1, the announcement with the times and dates for the equity identification boards will be published. On January 16, the final result of the approved candidates will be announced.

The Federal Institute of Education, Science, and Technology of Mato Grosso (IFMT), developed in accordance with Law No. 11,892, of December 29, 2008, by integrating the Federal Center for Technological Education of Mato Grosso, the Federal Center for Technological Education of Cuiabá, and the Federal Agrotechnical School of Cáceres, is an institution of higher, professional, and basic education, across different modalities of teaching.
