Identification of Skill Gaps, Personalization of Learning, and Adaptation of Training Material Are Some of the Benefits.

Training is an essential part of the development and success of companies. In this context, Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be an important ally to, for example, assess the progress of each employee, identify possible skill gaps, and dynamically adapt the training material for faster and more efficient learning.

Training can be proposed for various organizational purposes, such as teaching employees to use a new tool, optimizing ongoing processes, or addressing knowledge needs. Among the possibilities, compliance training stands out due to the importance of training for compliance with the norms, guidelines, and laws governing a particular business.

According to the study “Corporate Integrity in Brazil – Evolution of Compliance and Best Business Practices in Recent Years”, conducted by the auditing and consulting firm Deloitte, 73% of companies in the country plan to invest in compliance training by the end of 2024. This is because compliance programs need to be present in the daily lives of organizations to be truly effective.

The information highlights that employees who are aware of the policies and procedures established by the company can become more committed to an ethical and transparent environment. Thus, training tied to communication is essential for both professionals and business partners. Through this transfer, they can understand the norms and rules of integrity that govern the company they work for or provide services to and put them into practice.

Personalization of Learning with AI Is in Evidence

AI has proven to be a relevant resource in the corporate environment, with possibilities for the development and training of employees, thanks to its ability to learn from experiences, simulate real situations, analyze data, and provide continuous feedback.

One of the main contributions of the tool for learning, according to specialized portals in people management and technology, is the personalization of professional development strategies. Through data analysis, the institution can understand what the preferences and demands of each of its employees are.

This mapping is important because it allows for the adaptation of training and development according to the needs of each professional, maximizing the team’s potential and avoiding generic approaches. Thus, personalization is considered an effective strategy in corporate learning management, as it acknowledges the individuality of employees regarding their knowledge background and learning styles.

Chatbots are also AI resources that can assist in corporate learning management. These computer programs simulate human conversations, helping to personalize the interaction between machine and employee and engage professionals. In addition to improving the user experience, it optimizes time and reduces impersonality in learning, increasing identification with the content of the training.

Online Learning Helps Adapt to the New Pace Imposed by Technology

The rapid technological evolution has posed a challenge for companies to address a skills gap. According to a study by McKinsey, nine out of ten leaders face a shortage of skills in certain areas. To address this gap, large companies like Microsoft and Amazon are already seeking corporate training solutions through streaming. This alternative is considered highly scalable, modern, economical, and effective.

Even before the pandemic, online organizational learning had already been gaining traction in organizations. With the sudden shift in work configuration, this trend was accelerated. In this scenario, companies are increasingly discovering that investing in development and learning is crucial to attract and retain talent, for example. According to LinkedIn Research in 2019, this was a relevant aspect for 94% of professionals when deciding where to work.

The same survey showed that the skills required for jobs have changed by 25% since 2015. The research predicts that they are still expected to change by 200% by 2027, indicating that companies and professionals need to update themselves to keep pace with market evolution and remain competitive.
