Dover’s Supply Solution, A Pioneer in Compliance with the New RTM, Makes Significant Donation to the Institute.
This Thursday morning, July sixth, the Institute of Weights and Measures (IPEM) enthusiastically welcomed the donation of an anti-fraud supply pump. This gesture was facilitated by Dover Fueling Solutions, the pioneering manufacturer of fuel pumps to adopt the innovative Metrological Technical Regulation (RTM) from Inmetro. The donation aims to provide IPEM inspectors with the necessary tools to be trained in accordance with the new RTM.
Advance in Guaranteeing Metrological Safety
Dover’s General Director, Stelmo Carneiro, made the symbolic delivery to IPEM-SP Superintendent, Marcos Guerson, at an event that marked the celebration. Carneiro emphasized: “This is a historic milestone that represents the development of a technology capable of ensuring metrological safety at gas stations. This donation symbolizes the relevance of IPEM in ensuring effective inspections are carried out in the field. Thus, consumers, station owners, and manufacturers can collaborate with society to ensure fair competition and guarantee that the fuel transferred from the nozzle to the gas tank is indeed what is being purchased.”
In addition to the donation act, Dover sent two specialist engineers who, during the fifth and sixth of July, were responsible for training the IPEM team. This action marks the first of a series of planned trainings throughout the country.

Dover at the Forefront of RTM Compliance
As the first manufacturer to fully meet Inmetro’s requirements, Dover Fueling Solutions offers the market equipment that has already been approved and is in full compliance with the new RTM. The updates include the encrypted digital signature of the information exchanged between the meter and the electronic components of the pump. Additionally, the automation system and other station peripherals can be connected outside the sealed area, and there is a Bluetooth communication port that allows the consumer to verify the fueling.
Dover has two lines ready for the RTM: the Global 3G line, which includes the Global Century and Global Vista, and the Helix line, consisting of the Helix 1000 and Helix 4000, in addition to the Helix 5000 model, which was installed at Posto Galápagos, the first to operate in the Brazilian market.
